In Argentina, as in most countries in the World, the Covid has caused the paralysis of international tourism. Particularly in Argentina, 1,922,000 cases have been reported so far in total, and after the Christmas and New Year holidays, the number of cases is on the rise again.
For this reason, the National Government has decided to completely close the borders of our Country to international tourism.
No tourist can enter Argentina today (February 2021)
Until the end of December, a pilot test had been carried out that enabled the entry of tourists from neighboring countries, but due to this recent increase in cases it has been decided to completely close the borders again.
Only Argentines, residents and exceptional cases of foreigners previously authorized by the National Migration Office (such as a family reunification) are allowed to enter for the moment. For these cases, a negative PCR and a 7-day quarantine are required.
Due to the great relevance of this topic, essential for all those who want to visit the City of Buenos Aires and each of the beautiful corners of our Country, we will frequently update this post to keep you informed about the situation and evolution of Covid in Argentina.
