Taking advantage of the winter in Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri, who was reelected last Sunday for the next four years, inaugurated the new rink and already a lot of people is venturing in the ice rink, especially students of Buenos Aires who are on winter vacation.
If you are visiting Buenos Aires during the winter and want to try some ice skating you can not miss this new attraction that the city offers. The rink has a length of 450 meters, and it will be open 30 days since their inauguration in July 27, from the 9:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm. The track has a capacity for 100 persons each with a half hour shift, and students have priority since they are in winter holidays.
This ice rink is located in Plaza República Oriental del Uruguay in the Recoleta neighborhood, just behind the renowned Plaza Francia and the Recoleta Cemetery and has no cost, is totally free. The staff will deliver skates to everyone who wants to skate.
